MO Responsibilities May Include:
- Personal Care Assistance Helping clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Assisting with mobility, positioning, and transfers Supporting toileting and incontinence care
- Companionship & Emotional Support Providing friendly conversation and positive interaction for children and youth Encouraging social engagement and supporting emotional well-being Participating in fun, educational, and meaningful activities
- Meal Preparation & Nutrition Support Preparing meals based on dietary needs and preferences Assisting with feeding, if required Monitoring food intake and hydration
- Medication Reminders Prompting clients to take medications as prescribed Reporting any concerns or changes in health to supervisors or family members
- Light Housekeeping Tidying up living areas and client rooms Assisting with laundry, bed-making, and basic cleaning Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Care Coordination & Reporting Communicating with families, supervisors, and healthcare providers Documenting care activities and any changes in client condition Following personalized care plans and service guidelines Facility & Home-Based Support Providing care in private homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and retirement residences Adapting to different care environments with professionalism and flexibility
