At MO STAFF HEALTHCARE SERVICES, I serve as a DSW Supervisor, supporting individuals with developmental, physical, and mental health challenges while helping our team provide safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.
I am committed to promoting dignity, independence, inclusion, and quality of life for the individuals we support across group homes, private residences, supported living programs, and community-based services.
My Role as a DSW Supervisor
- Staff Support & Supervision: Supporting and guiding DSWs and frontline staff to provide consistent, professional, and compassionate care.
- Person-Centred Care: Ensuring individuals receive support based on their individual needs, choices, goals, and support plans.
- Care Coordination: Helping coordinate daily services and ensuring staff understand and follow individual care and support plans.
- Behavioural Support: Supporting staff in responding appropriately and respectfully to behavioural, emotional, and social needs.
- Life Skills Development: Promoting independence through support with daily living, communication, social participation, and community involvement.
- Documentation & Reporting: Supporting accurate documentation, progress notes, incident reporting, and communication with appropriate team members.
- Quality & Safety: Supporting compliance with MO STAFF HEALTHCARE SERVICES policies, safety procedures, and professional standards.
